Moving into a flat in Camden soon, looking for full time work.
full employment baby!
there's a more hardcore one in dalston, set up by former pb staff i think. they pay better but destroy your soul even more.
quite promising, how much do you get an hour mate?
they had a call centre in the town i lived in. they wouldn't employ me though because i was under 18, even though i had call centre experience.
get away with telling porkies
when i was 17!
did you get fired?
DID YOU RUIN IT FOR THE REST OF US?!?!??!?!
its ok, i ended up with a job in another call centre next door that paid more and was entirely inbound call work. even given all that, the turnover of staff was hilarious. after three months i was the third most experienced member of the team. i used to work night shifts as well, 11pm to 7am solo. one time i turned up drunk and watched an entire Van Damme film on TV without getting a single call.
wait, did the world go all wavvvvvy there?
it's great as a flexible student job.
i'm just a fundraiser, it's not like i can get on the internets while i'm at work...
but how much would that make a week do you reckon? Many thanks
i'm assuming so. shifts are 3.5 hours. minimum shifts a week is 4, if you only do 4 they have to be in the evening/at weekend, more than that then at least 50% have to be in the evening/weekend
so basically if you're doing the absolute minimum then you're gonna be earning £98 a week.
most people in the place are either students or are working part time while trying to make it in a creative industry (there are lots of musicians, actors, dancers)
and then there's lots of people who are only around for a week or two cos they're just needing money while moving jobs.
it's 3.15 am on a friday night/saturday morning, and i'm posting on a message board about my job while completely sober. what a rock n roll lifestyle i lead.
