Highly recommended.
"In 1914, World War I, the bloodiest war ever at that time in human history, was well under way. However on Christmas Eve, numerous sections of the Western Front called an informal, and unauthorized, truce where the various front-line soldiers of the conflict peacefully met each other in No Man's Land to share a precious pause in the carnage with a fleeting brotherhood. This film dramatizes one such section as the French, Scottish and German sides partake in the unique event, even though they are aware that their superiors will not tolerate its occurrence."

i can't remember if gremlins 2 was at christmas as well....let's just assume it was
and Trading Places
gremlins
Close Encounters of The Third Kind on every christmas?
Not that I'm complaining. I love it, just an odd 'festive' film.
Santa Claus the movie (the one with dudley moore)
Prancer (about a reindeer, not a homosexual professional dancer)
the snowman/father christmas/the bear by raymond briggs
Deffinatly go for that, what if santa was a grumpy old man living in England, bloody love it!
not many references to xmas but it's a winter film. not as good as the first two but still brilliant.
Trading Places
The Bihshop's Wife
Gremlins
Die Hard
and the mightiest of all xmas flicks....SCROOGED :-D :-D
Anyway...
This starts on TUESDAY.
Any more suggestions?
I'm disgusted it hasn't been mentioned before!
